Dear [user],
No one has a say on how they came into this world. According to Mary's mother, all babies have the ability to perceive when they're born, and all their cries are a response to the challenges ahead. As a baby grows up, such ability to perceive is gone along with the memory of its birth. This is God's gift for humans to live on with hope. What if one wants to retrieve such memory?
She didn't answer.
But I found a way.
With the help of Papa Legba, I could communicate with another knowing soul - my real mother.
The woman who gave birth to me.
Well, things didn't go as planned. In fact, things were bad. I'm the evidence of a horrific crime, a shameful bastard, an impure bloodline. As for my mother, a devout follower of Jacques I, her rage is reasonable. Am I surprised? Not at all. There are numerous mixed bloods on the street in New Orleans every day.
Am I saddened by this? Maybe a little. Yet I still have a terrific foster mom who loves me equally and selflessly. Although, this did lead to a certain consequence.
I had to pay Papa Legba's remuneration, as I can't break my pact with the deity.
I was worried about finding a sinful soul.
Then again, this problem is solved as I found a bountiful hunting ground.

The First Night
Papa Legba didn't respond.
That was a revelation after all, an acquiesence to what I've done - I've come to the right place.
Those arrogant dimwits clearly have no idea what Papa Legba can do. But when they realize there are ways to meet with people from the past, those who long for someone will come to me, and those who fear someone will isolate me.
However, no matter what the excuse or despicable facade, they'll have to face their sins in the end.
Mother once said that some sins are neutral and depend on how people look at them. If people feel ashamed, they will consider that they have sins.
I'm not going to leave any clues to the secret in this diary. After all, these secrets don't belong to me.
An enchantress only has to send the sinful souls to the crossroad by any means, so that they will receive counseling from the guide.
Anyone may come across this diary, but only one message is the most valuable:
I'm here.

力高爸老爹没有回应我。

2. Procedure:
The medicine wasn't stable and so it wasn't put to use in this group's experiment. As a result, the judgement and behavior of the subjects in this group were completely driven by their own personality and stance. No. 5-?-5 was the core for this group's contradictions.
No. 5-?-5 upheld her promise with the "gods" by sacrificing her "preys," which was also her motivation for joining the manor's game. Yet throughout the game, there wasn't any objective proof that the "gods" actually gave No. 5-?-5 any assistance or protection.
3. Analysis Summary:
No. 5-?-5's behavioral pattern wasn't purely religious, it's also related to her desire for self-identification.
As she wasn't accepted by her own people and she grew up being discriminated, No. 5-?-5 was very sensitive to her identity. Her wish for "the gods' approval" became her most urgent desire as she sought approval among her people.
In the process of fulfilling her promise with the "gods," she unapolagetically put herself in opposition to outsiders, contantly measuring their behavior against the standard of "preys." Such condescending and mean-spirited attitude brought a lot of criticism and prejudice toward her, leading to No. 5-?-5's self-perception as an "undesirable person." This expains why No. 5-?-5 wasn't moved by No. 5-?-4's kindness.
In stark contrast to the hostile "hunting" process, No. 5-?-5 decided that fate of preys in a very naive way—no matter how tricky the sacrifical technique, the key to the success of the ritual was "wether the prey can repent before the gods": the prey must accept their past in order to escape from their predicament. Yet No. 5-?-5 never had a chance to do the same but to face the scorn and prejudice imposed by the past head on.
Gaining satisfaction from the redemption of the prey, this is the unique tenderness of the huntress.
As to whether such beliefs will actually be reciprocated, the next set of experiments can go further on this point...
